Policies

1) Attendance

Students are expected to attend their scheduled lessons on time. If you believe you will be late to the lesson, please email Toni at tonimcgowanmusic@gmail.com , or call at (206) 235-6092 . There will be an effort to contact students or their guardians when they are 5 minutes late to their scheduled time.

2) Cancellations/Reschedules

There is an 8 hour cancellation policy. Students can cancel lessons 8 hours before their scheduled time, and either reschedule, or be refunded. If the student cancels less than 8 hours before their scheduled time, they will still be charged for the lesson. This is to pay for the time taken, as well as the travel expenses of the teacher.

Reschedules will also follow the 8 hour policy unless due to weather.

3) Remote technical issues

Lessons will be refunded or rescheduled for up to 2 consecutive lessons that experience technical issues on the end of the student. If technical issues are still occurring from the student’s setup a 3rd consecutive time, the lesson will be charged.

All lessons that are interrupted by technical issues on the half of Accelerando Music Studio will be refunded or rescheduled.

4) Lesson Agreement

All new students will be expected to sign the Lesson Agreement. This is to ensure the quality, efficiency, and safety of the lessons. A pdf is available for download by clicking the “Lesson Agreement PDF” button.

COVID-19

Masks are no longer mandatory at this time. If the student or parent wishes to be masked during lessons, Toni will also wear a mask.

All surfaces will be sanitized regularly.
